A Portugal vacation is great for a client who is seeking a culturally rich vacation.  Portugal is a small country and clients have the ability to travel from the southern point to the northern point of the country in one vacation!

Begin at the southern tip of Portugal, Algarve.  Algarve is well known for having some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.  Algarve also has exciting European nightlife.  There are several different small villages in Algarve that have different beaches, shops and restaurants so travelers can even try a few in a day!  While in Algarve, take a day trip over to the beaches in the Southern point of Spain, it's only about 40 minutes away.

Next up, it's time to head north to the city of Fatima.  This historical religious destination is where our Lady of Fatima appeared to children several years ago.  Fatima is frequented by people all over the world who are in search for healing for either themselves or their loved ones.  Enter the church for a mass or simply walk around the grounds.  One day may be enough in Fatmia .

Time to head over to Lisbon!  Enjoy the food, outside cafes and old architecture in "Old Lisbon" and view the waterfront, see where the World Games were played and visit the new aquarium in "New Lisbon”.  While in Lisbon, be sure to get over to the Benfica or Sporting Stadium, two of the most popular Soccer (or Futbol) team stadiums in Portugal.  Public transportation is safe and efficient in Lisbon and I would recommend using it as it can be tough to drive in a new city.

After Lisbon, head up to Viseu, a city in the far northern tip of Portugal.  Be sure to go to, Serra de Estrela, the highest point of Portugal for an amazing view, the ride up is a trip in itself!  Stop by the cafe's for a traditional after dinner cup of espresso or "un cafe."
